This game, which I remember from when I was little, was very neat. I just can't remember the name of it. In the game, set in the future, you built an 'empire' and could even expand underground and into space. The main thing that I remember from the game was the mech units. These large mechs had different qualities based on your race. The interesting thing was, when they would fight, sometimes pieces would fall off, and you could pick them up. For example, your human mech fights an alien mech, the alien loses an arm, and you drop your right arm and pick up the alien one.
When you move underground you actually had to dig to create an area large enough, it wasn't like 'oh, an underground cave!' but you actually had units that would dig at the sides, thus expanding the area you have to build in.
I cannot remember much more than that about it, however I haven't been able to find ANY games with these characteristics. Any help is much appreciated,
Will
