ive bought a suzuki gn125 a couple of months ago. but ive never had the chance to ride it properly as it keeps cutting off. everytime i start it up, it wants to go but keeps dying. ive cleaned the spark plug a few times and its fired but then when riding it is quite bumpy when your holding the throttle still. then it will die again. i dont think its the fuel because when i try starting it up you can smell the fuel (just incase its important its a four stroke). ive also tried it with the choke and it still doesn start propely. ive ordered a new spark plug which is lower number than the one i have so hopefully it will burn off the oil abit better.

basically what you need to know is:
- ive seen a mechanic and all he really did was clean up the spark plug and fix a few other things that were abit faulty with the bike
- once the spark plug is clean it will work but abit jumpy and then dies after a while.
- when choke is on it still wont start proerly
- im gonna charge the battery over night so i will see tomorrow if it works
- i didnt try changing gear on it when i was testing it today so im not sure if that would have killed it more or not.

please help me. i would like to ride my bike sometime soon. i would like to get practise for my test and wouldnt mind some avice of a mechnic or someone whos had thi problem.
