I saw this Movie when I was a kid in the 90s so the detail are a little fuzzy. All I remember is there was this machine in this guys attic that when turned on allowed these aliens from another dimension to come to our dimension. Most of the aliens were flying worms that bit who ever got to close to them and near the end one of the main charters grows an eye stalk that allows him so see in what I assume was infra-red. Also at one point they have to go to the basement which has been flooded and there was some alien fish swimming in it.
