anyone knwo how to get an iphone 3gs to unfreeze...?

my iphone has been frozen on the start up screen for over 2 hours and i have been waiting for the battery to just die (which usually... it doesnt even last two hours running) and it hasnt ... so anyone ... can you help????????

Try holding the home button and power button at the same time for several seconds. It should reboot.
