If I am quoting from a textbook, do I list the name of the author or name of the actual textbook when referencing the source *within the actual paper*?
For example, do I say "obesity cases have tripled since 1995 (Smith, 2008)."
Or do I put "obesity cases have tripled since 1995 (Textbook X, 2008)." ?
I know I must list both for the reference page.
Thanks!
I was trained in MLA style, but need to write a paper in which the instructor wants APA...so I am in a panic!
