Applying for a uni course that requires A* grade with grades before A* was

introduced? hi im 20 and dropped out of my old course for health reasons i now want to apply to a uni closer to home but the course requires an A* in maths, i got an A with 92% pass that would be an A* by todays standards. Will the uni accept this? Thanks for the help.

You should apply as you’ve got the equivalent of what’s required. They will want to know why you dropped out before and be assured that you are really committed to this particular course - so put a clear explanation/statement about this in your application and be prepared to be questioned quite thoroughly about it at interview.
