Are AC/DC British or Austrailian?

I'm a Brit and I maintain they're an Aussie band but my mate is adamant they're British due to the fact that Malcolm and Angus Young were born in the UK and the fact the band members (for the majority) are Brits.

I personally believe that's irrelevant.

Agree with me or not?
 
Its funny .... Most AC/DC members are or have been British born yet they are regarded as Australian .... The irony is that had they been less successful they would most certainly be regarded by Australians as 'Poms'.....
