Hi
i'm trying to get to grips with building a boat, but i've got some basic issues to get through.
Basically, I understand the hull is the outside, and the bulkhead (or bulkheads?) are the 'inner hull' - the walls of the rooms in the boat, but do they have to be as waterproof as the hull or are they just for structure and aesethic reasons...I mean, if I had a hull leak, would the bulkheads save me?
Many thanks
nathan
ps, this is in relation to a medium sized catamaran project (plywood and fibre combo)
