Are calories all that matter on the nutrition label? ?

For people who count calories.. Say:
Once slice of whole wheat bread 70cal 10cal from fat
VS
Once slice of regular bread 90cal 5cal from fat.
I wont bore you with the rest of the nutrition label, but
which one would be better? Whole wheat bread is better for you, but has more calories from fat, (which are worse for you)
Somebody please help me out. What is important to look for on the nutrition label besides calories?
