Granted, no one is gonna peg you for a tough guy if you drive a classic beetle, but you won't get laughed at. However, it would be ironic if you put a gun rack in it or something like that.

One interesting fact about the old Beetles is that you can supposedly take an engine out of an old Porsche 911 and bolt it right in.
