Yes. He overstepped the line but he has apologies. I don't find what he said funny.

Friday morning, Morgan did issue an apology. The actor and comedian said in a statement to CNN, “I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.”

I just think that if if someone said what he had said but changed the word from ''gay'' to ''black'' there would've been a huge uproar and there wouldn't be a question of whether or not peoples' response. Whatever, I know he was joking but it wasn't funny. I know when any comedian tells a joke there is an open window for misinterpretation by some group(s) of people, but his joke was just bad taste. He has apologized so people should let him be. But I know I've lost interest in his work from this.

Can you provide a link? I wanna see this

And whatever he said if he apoligized I guess thats ok

If a gay entertainer like Ellen Degeneres or Neil Patrick Harris stood in public and said similar things about black people as Morgan had said about gays the world would be up in arms. So why should we allow him any redemption?

I can handle 'equal opportunity comedy' but this stepped over a line nobody should cross.

Where do you see gays being too sensitive? I don't even see gays talking about the issue.

That's like having some comedian make very offensive jokes about black people, and then asking "Are blacks being too sensitive?" even though it's not just black people up at arms - it's everyone with half a brain.

well i think it was pretty dumb of tracy to say that anytime you are in the public eye you shouldnt say something to offend different culture groups or beliefs. and i really think what tracy said he really meant it he probably doesnt hate gays he just doesnt associate with too many but i think the gays are mad because they didnt realize it was so much hate in the world towards them

It was a joke and no way in hell will Tracy kill his son if he was gay. I believe he has three son. I can only assume if one of his son was gay. He will love him unconditionally. He told a joke that was in poor taste and he has apologies. I think everyone is being way to sensitive and PC. Tracy is a comedian. That's his job to tell jokes. Everyone knows he tell crude jokes. Now on these blogs people are calling Tracy racial slurs and making racial jokes.

after hearing interviews with him in the past:

i conclude he is generally ignorant on ALL topics, & i don't find him funny, at ALL !
