The Buddhists went out to spread their religion, the Christians went all over the globe trying to convert others. Muslims in earlier times spread their religion by the sword, forcing conquered people to become Muslims.
To be fair, I can't see that the Pagans tried to spread their philosophy at least beyond the borders of their own countries.
Even the Atheists on here are trying to convince others to adopt their viewpoint.
