Are jeeps good, reliable cars?

I am thinking of buying a 2006 Jeep Commander Limited HEMI. It has 110k miles, the pricing is good. Do you think that I should get it? What is some information I should know about it. The jeep itself is in flawless condition on the inside and out and the motor seems very clean.
