Are Mazda transmissions a severe problem?

I've heard that a lot of people who have Mazdas have had trouble with their transmissions. However, it looks like that's mostly with Protege & 626 (If I'm not mistaken, that's the current Mazda6). I want to buy a 2008 or 2009 Mazda3 S Touring. Should I be wary? I see these cars all over and I can't imagine everyone who has one has a problem.

most tranny problems are from low fluid and not changing it..most say change fluid 35K most NEVER do it and cry at 100K when a new/rebuilt is needed
