Are meet and greet sessions with artists really worth the money?

I am being tempted at buying a VIP ticket for IL VOLO which includes a meet and greet. But, is it worth the dough? I mean, like how much time do they allow for the session? I once saw a Celine Dion meet and greet and it took almost 30 mins. O.O help please?
