Are microsoft gadgets spyware free?

I'm looking online the page for "more gadgets" I'm just wondering if these have all be approved of safe use and do not contain spyware and viruses and keyloggers. Does micrsoft scan these before approving them and putting them on the page or is it a free uploading place?

if you get it from Msoft directly, then yeah.

if you get ones that are popular and well-rated, then most likely.

if you get them from other sources or get ones that aren't known well, it's risky.


And no, they do not scan any of the gadgets, even the ones they post on their site.
