I don't understand the whole SAG concept. You have to be an employed actor to sign with them but yet they charge you 2,000 dollars. For what... just to say your in the actors union? So, thousands of people pay that money just to sit around and beg for jobs? Or does being in SAG get you the jobs. Someone please explain.
Also, are celebrities joined in SAG or AFTRA? Do you need to be in the union to get jobs
