Are people scared of me lol?

lol I was wondering if there is something wrong with me,
so it all happened in school I was going to get some books in my locker so I was walking down the hallway, and then I saw there were a bunch of guys who were teasing my friend, some how they stopped when I approached them? or got closer to them , and then they all looked like angels they just looked at me and were quiet.. are they scared of me lol XDD?
I'm a short girl btw 5' 3 feet
