My question is basically, are the raw beef bones safe to give to a toy breed? I know that raw is fine and you should never give cooked bones... my question is more about the SIZE of the bones. I'm afraid the beef bones are too big and was told he could even grind his teeth down or crack/chip/break them.
My Papillon is like my baby, so of course I don't want to give him something that would hurt his teeth. I've never given him any bones before but I think he would love to have one. I just don't know what kind would be alright for him cause he's a little guy (8lbs). If you have a toy breed and you give them raw bones I would love to hear any input from you, like if its safe to do so, what type of bone to ask the butchers for. I know my happy Pappy would appreciate it too! Thanks in advance
