Are Rogers/Telus/Bell going to lower their iPhone plans for the holidays?

Seriously this is getting pathetic. $50 minimum across the board from all 3. I desperately want an iPhone but I'm not paying that much for 500mb of sh*t. Rogers is already hated by like 98% of Canada so this would be the perfect time to redeem themselves by slashing their prices. Either that or this is the perfect time for Telus/Bell to kick them when their down and slash their own prices. This is highway robbery the only kids that can afford them in my town are spoiled rich kids who get their parents to pay the monthly payments. I keep thinking about how I would run things if I was in charge of Rogers/Telus/Bell. I would not be ripping off Canadians like this I would have plans for everyone none of this garbage. I was expecting alot more from Telus/Bell if this is all they're going to do it's pretty sad. I've already emailed the companies asking if they're putting on any promos and no one has responded. Why are we so hard done by up here? This is supposed to be a free country and yet we are slaves to over priced wireless plans. Someone help us!
 
They honestly will not.
Because this is how the apple company makes money.
The reason why the prices for the Iphones are so high is because the money goes to that money making company (Apple) plus they are greedy.
Sorry it sucks.

Can't speak on Rogers since I've never been a client. Bell and TELUS have just launched the new 3G+ network and will probably leave things as they are until they get the marketing results a few months down the road. You may see changes by the Summer but that's just a guess.
