1) when a player is in an offside position when the ball is played but the ball takes a deflection off a defender/goalkeeper on it's way to him (surely, that's just clever play by the player passing the ball)
2) when two attackers and the ball are already ahead of the last defender and they pass to each other (does it matter in this case if the player receiving the ball is ahead or behind of the player passing the ball)
3) i know this is unrelated but is it legal to score a goal by throwing the ball from a throw in straight into the goal if it doesn't touch another player on the way in.
