are the nokia bluetooth headsets (sold on circuit city/ best buy etc) only

compatible with Nokia cells? there's a list of saying it's compatible with Nokia XXX and so on. but i thought any head set that has bluetooth would work with a bluetooth enabled phone?

I see a nokia headset i really like, but i have a LG Venus, I just want to be sure.
 
no, typically any bluetooth enabled phone should work with any bluetooth handset
