Are the T-Mobile G2 and HTC Evo batteries interchangeable?

Looking for a cheap aftermarket battery for my G2 as a spare....but am having a hard time matching up what I need.

It looks like they both use the same size/style, so thinking an Evo will fit in the G2, but the mAh is 1500 on the Evo and 1300 on the G2. I guess I'm wondering if 1500 mAh battery will blow up my G2! LOL

Any and all advice for finding the right match for my phone is appreciated! Thanks!
