The other day I had a very strange experience, I got stopped on the street in the middle of London by a woman with a camera, who announced I had the 'right look' for work with her agency - she explained was a scouting agent looking for new talent. I was very surprised (never thought about this kind of work before), but she told me a bit more about what they do and I admit I am intrigued.
They are called The Zebra Collection and apparently represent models, actors and so on. I was a bit apprehensive at first, firstly because of the name (collecting Zebras?! I thought she was an animal rights activist at first) and also obviously because there are dodgy agencies around, but I've looked at their website / client list, and it all seems legit.
I wouldn't be against doing some of this kind of work as I'm a student and could do with the extra money, but I know nothing about this area of work generally or agency specifically.
