On the radio this morning i was listening to a guy go on at length about how he was "a part of the bride [of Jesus]" and that at any time the rapture could come and he'd be taken up into the air to be, as he was describing it, Jesus' lover. It was borderline pornographic especially since it was in the context of the death of the world. It sounded disturbingly creepy to me and even kind of gross. It was on AFR talk. I understand what he was saying, and i understand the theology behind it... but because of the choice of words and the zeal with which he was proclaiming this it sounded dirty and creepy.
