*waits for jokes about players that posters don't like*
Why do you care?
None are out publicly. There was a former member of the Tigers who came out after his playing days were over.
To me, I don't care about all that. My interest is in the game and how the players play, not on what they do off the field so long as it isn't illegal.
Of course there are. But none of them are out of the closet. Many athletes have stated that they felt they could never come out while they were still active players. The "locker room" mentality is far too strong. Remember when that basketball player wrote the book last year saying he was gay? He had ex-teammates who said they never would have played with him if they had known.
A testosterone driven all male professional locker room is not a place where a gay man would feel safe to let his sexuality be known. Still A LOT of ignorance out there. Especially there.
I don't know...I don't judge people on their sexual orientation, the color of their skin, or their religion, I judge them on how hard they try to be the best person they can.
Wow, maybe if that guy could spell he would have at least a LITTLE credibility, why don't you shut up and stop saying things like that just cause you're a Red Sox fan? Were rivals, but yankee fans dont say or do half the stuff you guys do(ignorant bad red sox fans) do, good Yankee fans anyway.
