Are there any newbie RP sites that arnt totally serious and scary?? .__.?

eheh, yeaa,, im kinda new to roleplaying so i dont want to seem like a total idiot or get shunned out...
and alot of rp sites i see the people are RLY serious so i freak out and dont want to do it anymore T^T
but i think i wud like too if there were any newbie/beginner rp sites that i could go to, so,, are there??

Well I started RPing on fanfiction.net but that's for rping already established meduims and posting Fanfictions. But joining a RP is going to be scary. When you app a character try to tell them it's your first time and try to improve on your typing and grammar. That's all I have to say. Do that and you'll be fine :P
 
I started roleplaying with Discovery Freelancer. Discovery is a mod for Freelancer that adds a bunch of new systems, ships, and factions to the base game. The people there are mostly newbie friendly unless you act like a 'lolwut' (It's a Discovery term for somebody who uses leetspeak and smileys instead of roleplaying and just outright refuse to roleplay and follow the rules). If you like space sims and PvP along with RP, I would really suggest it.
