I got my four year old cat declawed and spayed a few days ago. She lives with my other cat, who has always been declawed. I got her a seperate box to use, and tried her out on yesterday's news litter.

She just won't use it. She'll hold her bladder until she can run out of the bedroom and use the other litter box. I know she's not supposed to be using it, to avoid infection, but isn't it much worse that she's refusing to pee/poo?

Any ideas, please? I don't want her to get an infection, and she's just had two major surguries.

Oh, and don't spam me for declawing my cats. I love my cats, and I would never do anything to put them in harms way.
