Are there smoke jumpers in the UK?

I have been trying to figure out what it is that I want to do with my life. I can't stand being bored and the boredom and monotony of every day life has actually put me in serious states of depression.

I have found good out lets. Most of my money goes into stuff like Judo and Muay Thai training and recently MMA because I need something that is constantly challenging physically and mentally. I run daily getting up before 5am and running 3 miles with a 100kg reinforced backpack because I need the pain and the adrenaline in life to push me and so I know that I am alive.
I once smoked for 3 months just so I could make running harder and so I can have the challenge of quitting and now I run with a gas mask on. No joke, that's just how bored I am with life. I don't like going out drinking I used to do stuff like pot and ecstasy because those were interesting but I don't do that any more.

I'm 21 years old and I'm already bored out of my head.

I work in landscaping and even though I'm working a physical job, the adrenaline and the challenge isn't there and I have thought about joining the Royal Marines and then going on to be in the SAS, but the problem is, is that I'm not a killer.
Politics isn't something that interests me, but I don't want to walk around Afghanistan with a gun, I would be in Afghanistan to try and build stuff but that option isn't there. I like helping people, I work at a soup kitchen whenever I can.

I heard about a special unit of fire fighters called "Smoke Jumpers" years ago and I know they specialize in forest fires and are deployed from the air in various ways.
I was reading a book called "A fighters heart" and he has a stint where he is a smoke jumper but it all seems to be in the US and it seems like my deal job, it just looks like such an interesting life.

Can I become a smoke jumper in the UK, are there as such things as smoke jumpers over here?
