Are these the symptoms of a bricked PSP?

My psp sat in a drawer for months, dead, due to the screen being cracked. It worked fine aside from the half-destroyed screen. I bought a new screen and installed it right away without testing to see if the psp still worked. I turned it on and the screen doesn't light up or anything, I just hear the startup sound then nothing, the green power light stays on though. I don't hear anything when I hit the d-pad so I think there's something wrong with something other than the screen. I put the old screen back in and the same thing happens. I replaced the screen before with no issues like this. I made sure all the screws were tight and that the lcd ribbons were secure.

I searched around the web to try and find someone with the same symptoms but no luck.
If it is bricked then will a pandora battery fix it?

Oh and no I'm not gonna send it to you.
