Are these valid reasons for fewer blacks in baseball?

1. no chance for MLB straight from high school or one year of college (like in FB and BB)
2. usually have to complete four years of college and spend several years in the minors (again, unlike other sports)
3. celebration (as in end zones and after dunks) is non-existent in baseball...you get hit in your next AB
4. your tattoos go unseen underneath baseball uniforms

For those reasons (among others), I think that's why blacks avoid baseball now. But everyone else says its racism. Are my reasons valid for few blacks in baseball? (don't call me a racist, I'm just asking)
 
There never really were a ton, but I think it's because they're all busy playing basketball and football.
 
They are not valid reasons, and your reasoning is definitely racist because it assumes that blacks do not go to college, celebrate too much, and wear tattoos all over their arms. You are not a racist, but you must understand that that is racist reasoning. What if I said that white people were moving to the border states so they could get more crystal meth easier? (I'm white too BTW)
 
baseball is just not a black men sports. they use the bats not to hit the ball. they use the bats to hit something else.
