Are you content where you are in Christ Jesus or do you strive for more of him?

I continually seek His face not his hand. By this I mean I seek to serve Him in what I can do not in what He can do for me.

Your zeal for Christ is truly commendable. Does that mean you love Christ Jesus more than you love your religious affiliation? Would you still follow the Christ if his message as written in the Bible conflicts with what your religion has taught you? Let me explain.

God's Word the Bible says:

4 The god of this age has BLINDED THE MINDS of those who don’t have faith so THEY COULDN'T SEE THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL that reveals Christ’s glory. Christ is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4 Common English Bible)

Revelation 12:9 (New American Standard Bible)
9And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and SATAN, who DECEIVES the WHOLE WORLD; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.[caps mine]

The Bible clearly tells honest-hearted readers that the world's majority has been misled by the devil to be on his side. That's why Satan is referred to in God's Word as "the god of this world".

Revelation chaps 17 and 18 make it clear that Satan has used false religions to accomplish his goals. Can you see why this world is in turmoil despite the fact that majority of world's population claim they believe in God? Why most religions have not become a force for peace and order?

A part of it is that Christendom has taught pagan doctrines. Doctrines which deny the truth about God's nature and His great purposes for mankind. Let us cite a few examples:

Jesus taught that he will return and resurrect those "in the memorial tombs" [John 5.28-29; Acts 24.15]. How does that harmonize with your belief in "afterlife"?

The Christ preached about "the good news of the kingdom of God", a government which will "rule over the earth" [Matthew 24.14; Re 5.10]. Christ's Messianic government will destroy all human governments and will rule the earth "for a thousand years" [Dan 2.44; Re 20.6] Would you believe this? Are you as a Christian obeying Christ's command to "preach the good news of the kingdom of God?

The Bible says Christ Jesus commanded his disciples to commemorate his death. Do you celebrate his birthday instead?

The Bible says Christ Jesus promised to restore the Paradise lost by Adam and that Genesis chap 2 tells us that the Paradise was located here on earth[Luke 23.43]. Do you instead believe your hope is to live forever in heaven? [Psalm 37.9-11;29]

The Bible says God is loving, compassionate, merciful, righteous, just and forgiving [Psalm 103:8-14; John 4.8]. Do you believe in a fiery hell instead?--a doctrine which slanders God, teaching He is cruel torturing the sinner endlessly forever for sins committed in his brief life span?

The list is long. Satan has truly been successful in "misleading the intire inhabited earth". Would you be meek enough to accept the truth of the Bible? [Zep 2:2-3]

If you genuinely love God more than your religious affiliation, YOU WILL.

Great Q..thanks...

Learn the truth then!

There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?

Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!

At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed!

Come on if you want to learn more look at the evidence!
