well, nicer than we are, because if they would have taken the same point of view as I've seen in many people, you and I might not have been born.

I mean, can you imagine the native americans going like:

"we should get rid of these illegals living in OUR land, building houses using OUR trees. bringing deceases to our trives and killing us off! Not only do they come here, fleeing from their government, taking our women, avoiding taxes, but they are also traitors, and to top it off, they want US to TEACH them how to grow corn!? and have I mentioned that they don't speak our language? they expect to be spoken to in english, we will NOT have that, I say we deport those bastards back to england were they came from"

so do you think there's some parallels here?
anyways, I look forward to all the hate I'm going to get from you guys.
and comments like "well, they were in a different situation", and such.

You are freakishly correct. It's just SAD how hypocritical americans are today. I mean I know that things are more risky nowadays, but all the same, America should chill out. Those poor Natives. The Englishmen (who I am not proud to say I am descended from....) just ran them out of their own land, raped and killed their people, and were, suffice to say, utter jackasses. The Native Americans were, for the most part, incredibly peaceful and welcoming. And people say we should be proud to be Americans... it's just crap. You are so right!
 
Not all Native Americans are the same you know. Many attacked the immigrants.

I'm not dignifying the rest of your question, though.
