in your opinion wtf happened ?

Barton agressive tackles has the better on the arsenal players, so they were all pissed off.................lololz

MARIA! You said you went to bed! LIAR!

And yeah, Aces, please don't call our stadium that... Not many people know this, but we have had ENOUGH. Even before today. We are planning a boycott until Ashley sells and tears down that horrible sign on the Gallowgate and gets rid of that disgusting 'name'.

The boycott should start in the next few home games. He won't leave willingly, we will force him out.

But yeah, it's just St. James Park, no stadium part and definitely no 'sportsdirect.com' part.

edit: I disagree with Maria, barely 100 fans left early, i can show here highlights, pause it, give her a magnifying glass and tell her to find me the empty seats and she would fail. Barton merely mistimed that tackle and the reaction from Diaby was way over the top, but of course, it is Barton so it is allowed. And Szcezny was actually booked for pushing Barton and obbstructing him from grabbign the ball and running back to the centre spot with it. Which is violent conduct, obstruction AND time wasting.

And she says shes not an Arsenal fan.

Actually, Barton got up and offered to shake his hand, then Diaby assaulted him. And boo-hoo, he called Torres gay. It happens. All. The. Time. Insulting someone doesn't make you a thug, it just makes you arrogant. And yeah, he did do wrong by Torres, but that doesn't mean every call made against him is right and that every thing he does is wrong.

I'm going to answer this question because a. all the Arsenal fans have gone off to bed and b. I watched the game from start to finish.

It started off amazingly for Arsenal. In the first ten minutes, three goals were scored by Walcott, Van Persie, and Djourou. The fourth goal came later as a result of a PK. Then it was HT. Then the real good stuff happened. Newcastle had a huge change after the half. Diaby got sent off for choking Barton, after a hard tackle that could've broken his legs. Szczesny got a yellow for "strangling" Nolan. Both of them went down together. It pretty much fell apart for Arsenal at that point. Wenger put in Squillaci, of all people! Squillaci is a shite defender and is even worse with Koscielny...he gave away two penalties. Oh, also, Newcastle played very well the second half. Their strikers were livelier, but they were overshadowed by Arsenal's failure.

Matt, I'm not here to argue. I'm merely stating my opinion and how I saw the whole situation. I'm not an Arsenal fan, for Christ's sake... but I know what it's like to get a Howard Webb against ya. Joey Barton is known for being a thug. He called Torres a "flaming homo" earlier in the season and made an obscene gesture towards him. It's ironic cause he was criticising Arsenal players and their rough play when clearly, he's the one who started it. He provoked Diaby. Diaby wouldnt've just choked him out of the blue. Anyways, I don't want to argue. I wasn't in the stadium so I don't know for sure what happened.

Joey Barton could've broken Diaby's legs. Honestly. You don't just brush it off if someone's trying to maul ya over.

Exciting game of football today. 38 goals in seven games! We'll add some more to that number tomorrow. YNWA!

A mixture of complacency on the part of arsenal players and a moment of madness by diaby. Not taking anything away from newcastle though. They played excellent football in 2nd half
