As a newbie actor for a feature length movie will I be paid before I get on

set like veteran actors? I will be working on a feature length movie in New York; and, I am a newbie actor with some work ranging from indie movie to theatre work to extra on a movie.

I would like to know if the production company will pay me some cash before I arrive to New York from Maryland?
