Hi! :D I'm wondering if there are any good sites to learn about Ashkenazi Judaism my family when they lived in Germany where Ashkenazi Jewish soooo I wanted to learn about it.

I'm not particularly religious...but if I was gonna join a belief it would most likely be Judaism...so help please? ^_^

This site is a GREAT starting place: http://www.jewfaq.org

One of it's pages describes how Asheknaki is Eastern European Jews, & Sephardic is Spain into N. Africa, & Mizrahi are Middle Eastern. The differences religiously are very, very small. They are ethnic groups, not religious groups.

A good place to start on that site is holidays, including Shabbat. Beliefs too, & prayer. Of course a great way to learn more is taking an intro class at a synagogue or Jewish Community Center.

Welcome! We'd love to have you. If you have more questions, there are a few Jews who frequent YA. If no one answers, email one of us so we can star it & see if it gets noticed by others.

Other good sites:
http://www.aish.com is Orthodox but their goal is to teach Judaism to all Jews.
http://www.chabad.org is also the same idea, & Orthodox
http://www.rju.org (Reform Jewish Union, I might have the link incorrect, is the Reform main site)

Something to be careful about, is any group that mentions Yeshua (Jesus) is Christian. They try to convert unknowledge able Jews to Christianity by calling themselves Jews. Both Jewish & Christian groups have called this dishonest, & it's not Judaism.

Google Ashkenazim
Central and eastern European Jews
German Jews
