Okay im getting a blackberry bold 9700 the cellphone company is at&t the phone is unlocked will it work with a telus HSPA sim card?

If the Blackberry Bold 9700 is locked with AT&T network you need to unlock it to change network.To unlock you can approach unBBlock.com and get the respective unlock code for your mobile.Once unlcoked the phone will work with any GSM networks.
