At the end of Code Geass?

is lelouch really dead or is he alive because i watched some videos on you tube saying he was alive and I'm like didn't he die.

I think it "looked" like he died, but he really didn't, I've heard a lot of rumors of a season 3 coming out too...

The actual creator of Code Geass came out and said that Lelouch was dead. Dead as a doornail. Dead, as in not living anymore.

There is going to be a third season; however, from what I hear it is going to involve an earlier time period so Lelouch wouldn't play a role anyway.
