Atheists and Christians, would you agree with this statement?

You need faith for both atheism and Christianity, but different amounts. I need faith to be an atheist like I need faith to believe in New York. Sure, I've never been there, but there is enough evidence to prove to me that it does exist without seeing it with my own eyes. I need faith to be a Christian like I need faith to believe in Atlantis.

The existence of a god plays no role in any scientific explanations of natural phenomena. There are no models of the physical universe in which god's existence is required or useful.

Basically right. Yes.

Atheism is just a logical conclusion. Not something that's provable (just like I can't prove Dragons do not exist). Theism is neither logical nor provable.

no i do not.

i don't have faith, nor do i need it to believe the way i do. i believe that what i think is right - but am open to the idea that i am wrong.

i never have and never will state that i believe in the truth or that what i believe is the truth.

Faith and atheism have nothing in common. I strongly disagree that it takes faith to admit you do not have an answer for everything. It only takes honesty.

Thank you come again.
