So it is up to YOU to PROVE that they DO, not for me to prove they do NOT. The same applies to your god. I do not claim god does not exist, just that I see nothing to show a god DOES exist. YOU say god exists. All I say is show me. And while you are at it, talk with James Randi at http://www.randi.org and apply for his million dollar prize. He is offering a million dollars to anyone who can show proof that anything supernatural, paranormal or psychic actually works as advertised. So, if these things actually work as you claim, why have you not collected the million? I may be a skeptic, but I am not stupid. The problem with all of you true-believers out there is you make claims which you believe are truth, but are only based on hearsay with no basis in fact.

I do not think they have been shown to reliably exist.

I do not see the correlation with a belief in God. Even if they did exist I would not see God as a required cause in most cases.

maybe some people are imagining what is likely to happen in a given situation, remembering all the positive correlations while forgetting all the things that did not come true. Maybe some thoughts can travel backwards in time.

the psychic business seems very shady to me. scaring people into paying large amounts of money.

Yes, some of these things do exist. Since I do not know how or why they exist, my explanation would simply be "I don't know." It is a much more honest answer than "If X happens it must be (god, jesus, satan, ghosts, spirits, aliens, etc.)." If you don't know, you simply accept the fact that you don't know. If you want to know, then you need to study and research to find out BEFORE reaching a conclusion that you know what it is. And once you do reach a conclusion, you should be able to support it with some kind of reasonable evidence.

Science already knows we have more than the five senses. Facial expression recognition, body language, voice tone etc. all allow subconscious realisation of the emotions of a person, something we would have used before the existence of language as our primary source of communication.

Atheists only accepts what science knows anything beyond present science is not accepted in the atheistic world even if it slapped them across the face..
