Atheists: How can you argue with 99% of humanity?

Only 1% of humanity has ever been an atheist. So are you some type of elitist who thinks you know more than the rest of the 99%?
 
Actually it's religious beliefs I don't agree with.

"Humanity" has come along way, scientifically & technologically speaking, so that we no longer need to believe in magic & miracles to explain natural phenomena.

Hooray for humanity!
 
Because right and wrong are not based on a popularity contest.

If I find 25 people who say the sun will not rise tomorrow, does that swing the chances in their favor?
Was the world flat 1000 years ago because the a majority of the people thought it was?
