If there was clear evidence for God's existence, sure I'd believe that he existed.. But that wouldn't be enough to make me worship him.. And his existence doesn't make everything about him correct, or denounce what we've discovered as being false.
If what the bible said about the future was true, it may increase the chances of Gods existence but it could also be a very far-fetched coincidence. I'd have to see him in front of my eyes, and even then it could just be the result of a drug trip.
I know believers look down their nose at atheists as not being open minded, but why would you be expected to believe something without full evidence? The claim for God is extraordinary.. Needs some pretty amazing proof.. A lot of people don't accept the theory of evolution when in fact there's more evidence for it than the theory of gravity.. With religion there's blatant double standards.
