So, i have a Toshiba Qosmio with a atheros AR9281 Built in wireless card. I have just set up my new NETGEAR Duel-Band G and N router and configured it with the help of Netgear's technical service. I have both G and N bands enabled and broadcasting right now, but the atheros AR9281 only see's the G network. Is there an option somewhere im missing to display and connect to wireless N networks?
I also have a Dell Latitude laptop and that wireless card see's both the G and the N networks so its not an issue with the router. Does anyone have any idea's? Im at a loss here.

this is a tired and getting old explanation but here goes: there are no set protocols agreed upon by the people that set the standards for wireless connections IE B,G,N on the "N" frequency therefor the "N" card you have may not work with net gear "N" router because there are NO set standards.while both are in the "N" range they may not "see" each other being from 2 different manufactures
