im not saying all athiests do
some also just do a quiet one in a hall but

alot of athiests do? why is that, trying to copy the trend of religious people?

It's a cultural thing. We don't like religion but we do like the tradition of white gowns with decorations and people and all that. Can't do that sort of thing in a court can you?

It's not a valid marriage if it's not by an Elvis impersonator, anyway.

I don't know. I'm sure I won't, if I ever get married it'll be out in the open, out in the countryside. Maybe they just want the "traditional" marriage. Or maybe they have a partner who's Christian but they're not.

Like having a quicky under the alter before the ceremony starts..... but that's just me.

When one partner is religious.

Why do you celebrate Jul and Easter? Trying to copy the trend of pagan people?

Most celebrate Christmas every year, too. Good to see them keeping their strong Christians values alive.
