...pain on the underside of both forearms? Any insights are very much appreciated!

I often have pain when I type or play piano. I also might have pain in the following situations: reading a book, sitting down, holding a piece of paper, writing, when trying to sleep, driving a car (or resting my arm out the window). *I do not have numbness or tingling in fingers*. Lifting heavy objects does not always bring pain, and sometimes never does. Sometimes playing piano at fff for 20 minutes will bring no pain, sometimes one touch of a key and I will have pain. The pain is often stinging and short (a split second to a few seconds), but sometimes aching and longer periods of time (up to a few hours)

I have tried the following: much stretching, icing, heating, massage therapy, lazer treatment, electricity treatment, an ongoing hiatus from piano playing, posture realignment, and more.

-As of late I sometimes have pain more localized at under forearm up towards the wrist (as opposed to only the half nearer the elbow). Once in a while I have tingling in fingers, but it has only been that way for the last month of my 16 month injury. There's probably more, but I can't think of any right now, thanks guys!

Being a piano player requires the CORRECT muscles to work. I used to think that"More pain, more gain." Then, a good teacher came across me and told me if I ever had pain, I wasn't playing properly. So, I started using my shoulders and feet a lot more. I would play using all my body muscles rather than just one. I would have that intense pain up my finger when I broke it. I played too hard and broke a little bone off my finger.
YOUR problem sounds different. My first guess was MS. I would definitely have it checked. It sounds serious.
