Attaching key chains to the LG Voyager?

There's this key chain I would love to put on my cellphone but I know the LG Voyager doesn't have a key chain holder.

Does someone know a way to attach it anyway? Will attaching it to the hinge work?

- I haven't bought the key chain yet so I don't know how thick the strap is.
