I was arrested on the spot for "attempted flee an officer". Im 18 years old and 3points on my license for previous failure yield ticket. I never attempted to flee the officer.We met on hill crest, I was speeding 65 in 55 and next thing i knew i was arrested by unmarked county officer. We were heading down the scenic route in which the cut off was quarter mile after where i met the officer. Turned down this road and kept on going speed limit now,35, down into town where i was arrested, car impounded, and taken to county jail until my release to my parents. I now owe over 700 in fines and am placed on 6 months probation. What are ways to get out of this? i never once was fleeing an officer. only speeding which was not even written anywhere on my ticket.
