I bought a certified pre owned 2008 Audi A6 from the dealer Saturday evening. I traded in my 2009 Audi A4 and put down $3,500 down plus another $4000 equity I had in the A4. I drove the car yesterday for 60 miles from the dealership to my home and again today -- and my knees (they have had troubles) hurt and cramps. It's not a light vehicle like the A4. The A6 is too heavy to drive and hurts my knee. If I were to take back the A6 Monday (the dealer is closed Sunday) what are my options and what sort of loss am I looking at? Anybody with a dealership or similar experience? Thank you.
Thank you for responding. I'm going to take the car back Monday (tomorrow). I am willing to give up the $3.5K down payment and request the dealer void the sale. Is that an option..? I mean do you know if a void of the sale and the trade in can be done? Obviously I'm willing to be pay a penalty. Given the horror stories or rather the perceptions of dealers, I'd like to hope there is an amount of professionalism. Please respond only if you know such exceptions has occurred. Thanks again.
