I have a LG SMART 42" LED TV and a SONY BLUE RAY HOME THEATER SYSTEM. Currently I am using HD-MI cable to connect between these devices. The 5.1 speaker system works well when ever video/audio is played through the player. But I want to view videos by connecting USB directly to the TV but the problem is the home theater's speakers wont work now. I tried different methods but could not make it to work. I now have a Sony PS3 which I have connected through HD-MI to the TV and I am getting audio from TV only. Is there anyway to connect the Home Theater's speakers to the TV so that the speakers work all the time on TV?
well is there any alternate method than optical cable? can I use 2 HDMI at once(one for PS3 and other for HTS) since my TV has 5 HDMI ports.so can I get audio from 5.1 for PS3?
