i have a soundcard from M-audio that works just fine for recording through a mixer but recently i wanted to hook up a keyboard via midi to the soundcard so i could play about with it in cubase but the cable that came with the M-audio Audiophile 2496 sound card is ridiculously short. is there an alternative cable out there as its very awkward to change around my set up to reach the keyboard. also i cant seem to find an alternative cable that is 9 pin as oppose to the typical 15 pin.could i be doing something wrong with the connection. i m fairly new to this whole home recording so sorry if i have missed something.
